What religion did Bishop B F Westcott belong to? Was he Anglican, Catholic or C of E?

Westcott and Hort produced an interlinear text in Koine and English for use in translating the bible and this was used by Jehovah's Witnesses to produce the New World Translation, however, I would like to know what religion Westcott was from. I know they were both professors of Cambridge University and that Westcott was Bishop of Durham - but what religion?
