Do I stand a good chance of getting into a top university with these GCSE's?

I'm doing my GCSEs at the moment so I'm no expert but my brother is at a good University doing the best business course in the country. Those grades look pretty good to me! From my understanding though, obviously GCSEs are important, but it's really A levels that Uni's will look at and possibly if they are deciding between two people that have the same A level results then they would look at GCSEs in more detail to help decide. I was always told that it's all about getting onto the next stage - so I've got to do well enough in my GCSEs to get into College, then well enough in my A levels to get into Uni etc. But obviously they will refer back for some things.
