What is the night life like a Durham (Durham University)?

I cannot say which is the better for your course but Durham is a fine city. It has a twenty four hour bus to Newcastle upon Tyne and I recommend both the Colpitts Hotel, up the hill behind the bus station and The Victoria Inn at Hallgarth Street which is up the hill and on the way to Houghall College. Brilliant little city.
