Would you go to boarding school 5 hours away?

Hello, a few months back I decided to apply for NCSSM (North Carolina School of Science and Math) which is a residential school in Durham, North Carolina. I thought it was a great opportunity at the time, but I didn't really think that they would accept me. Now that I made the cut, I'm kind of torn; it finally hit me. Enrolling at NCSSM would mean leaving after my sophomore year and moving 5 hours away. Also meaning: no family, no childhood friends, no car, and no job. On the other hand, NCSSM offers a challenging academic experience, fresh start and independence. Additionally, NCSSM is a 2-year high school for juniors and seniors only and I won't have a chance like this again. I don't know what to do. Would you go? I'm already feeling homesick just thinking about it.
