Is a physics degree from durham university usefull?

i will be starting at durham university next october studying for a masters in physics. but im starting to think that i might have made a bad choice. i was just wondering if it was a good degree to have and what sort of carrer prospects are avalible after.n i have talked to lecturers but i do think they are a little bias. any comments would be greatly appreciated.
