Help getting baby to sleep?

You can't learn everything from a book. They are only this little once, so put her to sleep by nursing. Then maybe at six months when you start to give her baby food you can pump or switch to bottle feeding. You breast feeding her soothes her, and she will eventually grow out of needing that type of soothing but she is too young to soothe herself.
